Pregunta Lavar motor BMW 320d 2007 (duda)

Hola compañeros, tengo una duda. Tengo un BMW 320d de 2007 que compro mi padre hace 17 años, ha ido siempre a revisiones en la propia BMW, en general el coche esta perfecto pero el motor esta bastante sucio y me gustaría limpiarlo, no se como, ahí la duda. Si alguien sabe como puedo hacerlo sin j*der ningún elemento del coche de manera segura y me puede ayudar os lo agradecería bastante. Además me han dicho que es bueno que lo lleve a un taller para descarbonizarlo y tampoco se muy bien como funciona. Gracias de antemano.
